Begin by meeting your guide in the center of the city. Set off on your adventure on foot. Pass by Wenceslas Square and stroll down the surrounding streets towards Powder Tower, one of the original city gates. Walk to the Old Town Square and marvel at its surrounding buildings. Next, head to Prague’s famous medieval astronomical clock. Listen to your guide explain how the clock was first installed in 1410, making it the 3rd-oldest astronomical clock in the world. Walk down Pařížská Street, which is lined with stately townhouses that have Art Nouveau design features. Explore the city’s Jewish history. Visit the Old Jewish Cemetary, one of the oldest surviving Jewish burial grounds in the world. Walk to the Rudolfinum and hear your guide talk about its history of hosting many musical events, due to its excellent acoustics. Admire its neo-renaissance style. Continue past other sites, such as Charles Bridge and Prague’s narrowest street. Proceed towards John Lennon’s Wall. Take photos in front of this ode to John Lennon. Part ways with your group, safe in the knowledge that you have ticked off many important attractions in Prague from your list.
